Benefits?
- A fun alternative to repeatable quests for new and old players, casual or hardcore.
- An option for players when can’t do bg/pvp.
- When there are few people online.
- When can’t get find a group for PvE.
- Varied solo combat experience to due different mob packs and spells they have.
- When want to chill and listen to music/podcast/stream in background.
How it could work?
- It can be set up in scarlet monastery.
- Only one player can enter dungeon.
- There are four instances.
- Run time 15-30 min per instance. Ex. Gy quicker, lib longer.
- Mob behavior in instance could remain the same just hp and dmg tuned for lvl60.
- All 4 instances should be doable by all players (faster if geared) and reward equally to time it takes to complete.
- Players can take 1 daily quest for each scarlet wing rewarding 1 daily token + bag. Must kill boss to complete.
- Players can take 1 repeatable quest for each wing with multiple reward choice. The choices can be Gold/Flask/Mats/Tokens (ex. recipe). The more variety in choices the more players will be interested. Must kill boss and X number of mobs to complete.
- Bosses could drop some interesting item; maybe random epic world drop or ZG/MC lvl epic.
- After slaying a boss, it drops 30 min +3% all damage buff similar to elune. Can stack up to 4 times to 12% 120min, lost upon death. This will make it fun for making consecutive runs or saving for a raid.
- Maybe to avoid wasting time in loot windows mobs should have no loot or just gold.
I tried to keep it as simple as possible because I don’t know how hard it is to implement. Maybe 2-3 instances are enough. From my experience with the server this can be a very good addition and something devs can pull off. And if balanced the community should welcome the addition as it won’t interfere or take away from other activities. So please give feedback and suggestions.
