I can't take this guide seriously, there was a photo showing an example stats of feral bears vs shaman tanks where the feral bear had only 11k hp fully world buffed and the same hp on the shaman. Druid showing 16k armor while the enhance showing 15k.
There's no way in hell a shaman can get high enough armor to be viable for anything but trash tanking, and not even on most mobs. It's viable for 5 mans and that's it. Paladins are viable for 5 mans and raid aoe trash. Druids are viable for some bosses. Warriors will be viable for everything. I commend the guy's effort but damn dude...

As much as I applaud the effort that went into creating that guide, the whole notion is still quite ridiculous.
Just because you can do something doesn't mean it's worth doing. Like if he got massive enjoyment out of shaman tanking more power to him, but it's just so impractical. But then again if you've played Vanilla for 14+ years I guess you want to try something a bit more "original?".

Yeah I think the idea is more of something different to do rather than actually being viable. I enjoy seeing weird shit like this though, it's fun to mix it up. Like on old core watching bis shadow priests tanking random bosses.
